Hector the Hopper Truck

 Some time ago I mistakenly bought this model of Hector the coal hopper truck, but it was a Toymaster push along toy.

A few days ago I spotted one for sale on eBay which had been adapted to fit on Hornby track.

Added to a Hornby chassis

So I thought I would attempt the same thing.

 Another addition arrived today, Harold the Helicopter. 🚁

S.C.Ruffey

 This morning S.C.RUFFEY arrived in the post.

This is the final specific Thomas wagon I was after.

It goes in this case.

Bulstrode the Barge

 Bulstrode the Barge arrived today.

I have had to do some rearranging of two of the carry cases to accommodate him.

Sodor Scrap Co Wagon

This Sodor Scrap Co. wagon arrived this morning.

Coaches for James

 This pair of coaches to go with James arrived today.

They are different on both sides.

Partnered with James.

James the Red Engine

 Whilst we were on holiday last week, James the Red Engine arrived.

Station Waiting Room Part 2

 Previously I had cut down a section of platform for the waiting room to sit on, but this left an exposed open end. Today I finished it off by adding a section of wall to the open end.

Yard Crane

 This morning this fully working yard crane arrived in the post, it will go near the good shed.

Station Waiting Room

 This morning this waiting room arrived.

It matches the station building, I have already modified a piece of platform and fencing, but need to finish off the platform end.

SODOR Fuel Tanker

 This morning this SODOR Fuel tanker arrived.

Signalbox

 This will be the signal and crossing box.

Weetabix and KitKat Wagons

 These two wagons arrived in the post today.

Station Building and Platform

 Today this station building arrived, it goes with the platform which I already had.

It is rather grand looking from the road side.

Goods Shed, Water Tower and Point Lever

 This morning 3 items arrived for the railway, a goods shed.

The doors can be slid open.

And can be slid closed.

This is a water tower to store water used for the steam engines.

And finally a lever to operate the point.

Trevor the Traction Engine

 Trevor the traction engine arrived today.

Old Slow Coach

This morning "Old Slow Coach" arrived in the post.

I have fitted metal wheels to it.

It goes with Duck, both being from the GWR.

 

Devious Diesel

This morning this model class 08 diesel arrived.

I have added the face to convert it into Devious Diesel.

Douglas Part 3

 Today a sheet of suitable transfers arrived.

I removed the old transfers from Douglas and added the No.10 to the tender.

Douglas Part 2

A new set of wheels and axles for the tender drive arrived this morning.

The original rubber tyres were perished and one was missing so needed replacing.

In the same package was a replacement set of Hornby couplings to replace the Airfix ones.

The new Hornby coupling fitted to the tender and the old Airfix coupling alongside.

The new Hornby coupling fitted to the loco and the old Airfix coupling alongside.

These will now better match the Hornby couplings on all the coaches and wagons.
